Bio-clock out of order
well havent blogged in 2 weeks... y? cos i've been playing too much dota, settling my modules, trying to decide whether to move back to PGP... well the title's my nick recently, my bio-clock is really out of order... slping at times like 5-8 am and waking ard 6-7 pm... totally haywire and mainly due to dota and also my own habit of settling my personal things at wee hrs when no one else is awake, and i had went w/o slp for quite some days due to things i need to do or places i need to go in the mornings... its taking a toll on my intelligence as i see it, think i'm becoming more stupid day by day, hope it doesnt continue on hahaha
anyway i'm up at this hr also cos i havent slept, finishing up the processing of some photos to be uploaded... well i've become very slow nowadays in uploading, if i ever actually upload the photos :P its getting very irritating and troublesome especially when IE plays "boo" with me when i'm at home, it refuses to load the imagestation webby properly... so now i have to QC the photos, run it thru ACDSee to resize, then upload thru the imagestation Xpress, then go imagestation webby via firefox and send out the links... creation of much trouble... btw i'm down-sizing the images cos my acc on imagestation no longer has the access to original files, so down-sizing makes my upload time much shorter, but of cos its much more troublesome too hahaha
oh and abt QC, i QC my photos as a personal responsibility... i take it upon myself to not just distribute the photos i take freely, as a responsibility to my frens to not allow their photos to be too easily obtain, tats 1 reason y all my albums on the imagestation webby is not public listed, so only ppl with the links can access them... i got 2 basic levels for QC:
1st level is totally "raw" i.e. everything from my camera tat i have taken, only ppl i trust will be able to get their hands on this, for the few individuals who have this privilege, appreciate it hahaha
2nd level is for related audience i.e. photos meant for general frens involved in the event i was shooting at, things removed include photos i myself am not satisfied with and photos i know the subject person wun wan me to show to others, this is the general level of QC for the photos i upload, so tats wat u all will get to see most often, oh and if it happens tat some photos u all dun wan ppl to see turns up in the uploads, do feedback to me hahaha
i'm usually extra careful when i distribute the full sized images... cos of the wider range of possible usage, which increases the risk if it were to fall into wrong hands hahaha... actually i dun even trust the upload webbies fully hahaha, but well my plan now is soon to have a personal ftp server, converted from this laptop of mine which wld be obselete in 1.5 yrs time when i enter NIE, cos of my possibe new purchase hahaha... this wld be made possible by the service of dyndns.org and singnet, and tat wld become my new medium of photo distribution, really looking forward to it hahaha
ooops its been an hr since i start typing hahaha ok time to stop and get back to my photo process hahahaha till next time :P
