New Year: 2010, New Beginnings
ok need to clean off the virtual dust on this blog, i had neglected this after work has taken over all that i was and even during the december holidays, my days were dominated by work.
i have said this to a lot of my colleagues, to me, it felt like the school year never ended. i was busy through to 2 week of december for overseas trip and stuff, and the last day i was still back in sch working was 21th Dec, after which i forced myself to take a 2 week plus break, returning to work on 7th Jan.
demands are still heavy this year, but God has planned things for me. 1st thing was my change in CCA, now i'm in charge of the photography arm of our Film Sound Video Club! i'm really thankful and surprised by this change, last yr when i surface the desire to switch, i was told it wld be difficult, but God provided. for those who know my passion in photography, this really is a place where i can enjoy and shine. i'm looking forward to sharing my experience in event photography to the kids. we will be embarking on a 4 week training course taught by yours truly. its gonna be exciting.
my H3 maths came into full swing over the december holidays also as i prepared the lesson package and have been teaching it for the past month, it is really a challenge to me, the extra 4 hrs of lesson time per week is no joke. i was like on double load, but God helped me to pull through.
was recently asked during my work review about my future plans in the career, initially i was lost, i felt that i have lost sight of what God had called me into this vocation for. i love the interaction with the students but i abhor the stifling admin. my desire is to make education a better institution for the young and also the school a better workplace for those with passion. i had lost that in all the demands or work, but have regain this vision and i will work towards a leadership role in order to effect changes into the system.
i am in need of direction from God, and i will seek Him for it. do pray along with me and for me. thank you!
